This section shows some of my planes that I am working on.  They are either modified from a stock kit / ARF or proto-type planes. 

These are not a full construction article but just snap-shots of some projects I'm working on.

Fixed Gear on the HET-RC Super Sniper

When retracts are not an option, the next best thing is fixed gear.  On these smaller EDF jets, I've found that half the fun is watching them take off and land on the runway.

Click on the picture to the left to see some pictures of the process I used to modify the HET-RC Super Sniper to fixed gear.  It is very similar to my setup on the HET-RC FA-18 with some minor changes.

Please note, this is not meant to be a construction article, just a quick peek at what I've been doing on my own model.
Hawker Tempest Proto (designed by Luc Dietvorst)
Luc Dietvorst who designed the RBCKits F-35 Joint Stike Fighter has also come up with a large Hawker Tempest design.

Rob at RBCKits offered me a chance to put one of the proto-type kits together and I'm currently in the process of building her.

  Glassing the HET-RC FA-18
  The HET-RC FA-18 is a nice plane, but covered in plastic covering. I decided to take one of the "Blue Angeles" scheme ARF's and recover it in fiberglass and air brush it grey.
